This Vanilla grade is excellent for flavoring, baking, cooking, and other culinary uses. Further, we use our well-trained team to select the premium quality beans from our production.

Vanilla grows as a vine and climbing up an existing tree, pole, or other support.

Vanilla is one of the most expensive spices in Sri Lanka because of the high labor involved in cultivation. Further, the vanilla plant is growing in the hill country and wet weather conditions in Sri Lanka. 

We identify Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Matale, and Kegalle districts as the best Vanilla growing areas in Sri Lanka.

How to identify good quality vanilla beans/Pods

1. Check vanilla smell – sweet, creamy and aromatic
2. Color – Dark brown or black color, Soft/Shiny oily surface on the beans and flexible.
3. Easy to roll between your two fingers – You should be able to tie a knot without breaking the bean. If it breaks, that’s because the bean is too dry. Do the test and select the best beans!
