Eco-foods story started in 2019 with Nelka Hewage, originally a training instructor for unemployed people and new entrepreneurs, but also passionate of Nature, food and her country. She noticed during her work trips a distortion in between the abundance of Nature and the poverty of people who couldn't even eat. It was unthinking to do nothing after noticing limitless fruit trees with so much harvest, until the point that fruits got rot. Nobody consumed them, but people buy fruits at the supermarket.
