Islandoor

Founded in Sri Lanka in 2018, Islandoor is basically inspired by ‘the elements of Island life’ and ethically creates clothing and accessories that evoke a sense of summer and a spirit of travel, out of dead-stock fabrics from fast-paced production units around Sri Lanka and using locally made textiles. It is a thoughtful women-led business, committed to small scale, low waste production, excellent conditions for artisans and a truly sustainable supply chain. The founder, Madhushani Rathnasiri has collaborated with talented, local artisans to create its unique, upcycled resort wear and have continued to live and work closely with their local community ever since.
